Global Warming

Global warming is a hot topic warming up as quickly as the warming effect these activists predicted about the climate. President Al Gore is no less famous because of his speeches on global warming than his talks in presidential campaigns. In one of the speeches, he said global warming was not about controlling gas emissions from cars, nor about which land territories would disappear if sea levels rose substantially, but it was about "a collision between our civilization and the Earth".

It is indeed insightful for him to say so. Such approach is no longer environmental, but philosophical. Who would think global warming is a philosophical question in its essence?

Your Perception of the Role of Wife

If your engaged girlfriend would say to you, "My dear, after you graduate, let's go to do this." How would you feel?

Setting aside what "this" may be, are you offended by "let's" that she said? Do you feel offended that this girl is managing your life and stepping over her line as your girlfriend? Do you feel she is being presumptuous and disrespectful towards you as a man? Would you like to have a wife such as that?

I should add, if you are a woman, share with us what your boyfriend, or your husband, or your father's perception, if you may; and how do you feel about that?
